Fiddler in Nanaimo
One of my favourite musicals of all time – Fiddler on the Roof – is being put on at the Port Theatre in Nanaimo March 13 – 15th. It’s the story of trying to maintain traditions in the face of changing times; I’m definitely going to see it differently as a mother of two! Put on by the South Island Musical Theatre Society, this performance sold out almost all its shows at the Cowichan Theatre and this run in Nanaimo is proving to be very popular as well. Shows are at 7:30pm Friday and Saturday, with a 2pm show on Sunday.
