Tall tales of BC at the Chemainus Theatre Festival

Our children love live theatre and there’s always guaranteed fun at the Chemainus Theatre Festival’s KidzPlay series. We just got back from seeing Land of Legends, which features a series of stories from BC folklore, told by master story-teller Jim Leard. The kids were on the edge of their seats listening to him tell the Tail of the Sasquatch and many more home-grown tales. And what a great value it was too – only $5 or four tickets for $15. The show continues over Spring Break on March 19, 20 and 22nd. This summer, KidzPlay will feature Treasure Tales – great pirate stories running throughout July and August.
